About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of small engines and equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, snow blowers, and other power tools.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a small engine mechanic or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on small engines
- Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, blade sharpening, etc.)
- Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged parts
- Replace or repair defective components
- Maintain accurate service records
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Communicate with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
