About The Position

Outdoor Concepts is hiring a full-time or part-time Small Engine Mechanic at its Bluffton, Indiana location. The role involves working with small engines and outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, snow plows, trucks, and trailers. The mechanic should be able to work long hours during the spring and sharpen chains and lawn mower blades.

Requirements

• Four-stroke engine skills.
• Two-stroke engine skills.
• Knowledge of three- and four-cylinder diesel engines.
• Ability to use power equipment.
• Hydraulic knowledge of lawn mowers and snow plows.
• Ability to use meters and measuring tools.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Electrical knowledge of lawn mowers, trucks, and trailers.
• Ability to work long hours in the spring.
• Ability to sharpen chains and lawn mower blades.

Responsibilities

• Work with four-stroke and two-stroke engines.
• Use power equipment, meters, and measuring tools.
• Work with hydraulics on lawn mowers and snow plows.
• Perform welding and fabrication.
• Work with electrical systems on lawn mowers, trucks, and trailers.
• Sharpen chains and lawn mower blades.
• Work long hours in the spring.
