About The Position

The Small Deliveries Driver transports materials, equipment, and supplies to jobsites and other destinations to support RK operations. The role coordinates with field and transportation teams, maintains accurate delivery documentation, and assists with shop and fleet operations as needed. It requires a focus on safety, reliability, and timely service.

Requirements

A valid Colorado driver’s license and eligibility to drive under RK’s insurance policy.
Working knowledge of trade materials, tools, and safe cargo-handling practices.
Ability to load, secure, and unload cargo and complete required delivery documentation.
Strong communication, reliability, and organization skills to coordinate deliveries and respond to schedule changes.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and environments that may include dust, noise, hazards, confined spaces, and elevated areas.
Ability to climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch, and occasionally lift and carry 51–75 pounds.
Commitment to workplace safety, company procedures, and required training.

Responsibilities

Operate pickup trucks with trailers, small trucks, and box trucks to transport cargo to and from designated locations.
Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment, using a forklift when required.
Coordinate deliveries and pickups with dispatch, field teams, and transportation personnel, adapting to schedule changes as needed.
Prepare and maintain bills of lading (BOLs), delivery records, and travel logs in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Deliver equipment and supplies, including chairs, tents, and grills, to jobsites when needed.
Support fleet vehicle drop-offs and pickups, maintenance projects, and tool shop tasks during downtime.
Follow company safety policies and speak up or stop work when unsafe conditions are present.
