The primary purpose of this position is to assist Beacon Credit Union to live out our mission, "Dedicated to Our Member's Financial Success," by delivering outstanding service to both internal and external members. The Small Business Specialist will develop and maintain business affiliations with our Small Business Members. This role actively deepens existing customer relationships through routine calling activity and develops new relationship opportunities through business development activities. Responsibilities include originating scored credit requests up to $1 million and selling products/services such as business deposit products, business credit cards and payment solutions, as well as all other suitable solutions as appropriate. This job may require outside prospecting and sales to meet or exceed the sales production goals. The role appropriately handles business banking member service issues in the assigned portfolio, actively manages relationships with branch and business line partners, and ensures compliance with all State and Federal regulations as they relate to Small Business Services in the Credit Union environment. The position provides weekly sales reports to management and adheres to all Beacon policies and procedures, meeting or exceeding service goals and standards set forth by Management.
