About The Position
Stonecliff Veterinary Surgical Center is a four-doctor, full-service general practice hospital and veterinary surgical center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Established in 1990, the AAHA-accredited clinic provides wellness care, surgery, ultrasound, dental services, and behavioral case management in a new facility. The practice emphasizes high-quality veterinary medicine, compassionate care, client education, and medical autonomy. It has particular experience treating canine lameness, including tibial plateau leveling osteotomy for ACL injuries. The clinic is seeking a compassionate, collaborative surgeon with strong communication skills. It can support a board-certified surgeon, a residency-trained surgeon, or an experienced surgeon without formal training. The role is available full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling and no overnight shifts. Lebanon offers a rural community setting with access to cultural amenities and outdoor recreation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
- Board-certified surgeon or residency-trained surgeon; the employer also states it can support an experienced surgeon without formal training.
- Active veterinary state license.
