About The Position
Language Trainers, an international language training company founded in 2004, is seeking a freelance Slovak Teacher for a client in Denver, United States. The company specializes in customized language training for professionals and private students, offering instruction in over 99 languages worldwide. This specific role involves teaching general Slovak to a beginner-level student aged 65 and over, with a focus on family heritage and travel motivations. The course is one-to-one, with a total of 30 hours, and sessions are two hours long. Lessons will take place in the City Park area of Denver at a mutually convenient library or coffee shop, once per week on Wednesday mornings. The start date is as soon as possible. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The hourly rate is negotiable, and this is a part-time, freelance position.
Requirements
- Native Slovak speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (City Park area of Denver).
- Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
- Must meet stated conditions, including not requiring visa sponsorship.
