About The Position

The Slot Technician is responsible for major mechanical repairs, machine maintenance, conversions, floor moves, etc. to ensure compliance with state inspectors, state compact and internal controls. This role requires the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with the requirements listed being representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Requirements

  • Previous slot technical experience.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, public relations and communications skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Must meet State Compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check, and submit to random drug testing.
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Six Months related experience.
  • Must have computer skills.
  • Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining records relating to the removal, replacement, relocation, and repair of slot machines.
  • Keeping an orderly inventory of parts and records of inventory in stock, purchased, and used.
  • Repairing equipment used in Slot Department.
  • Ensuring slot machines are in good working order.
  • Replacing parts and cleaning machines as needed.
  • Attending and/or facilitating all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Operating within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
  • Securing the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
