About The Position

Responsible for the proper function and maintenance of all gaming devices, their related components, and support systems. This role involves safeguarding assets, resolving machine variances, and assisting the Slot Director with analysis, budgeting, and purchasing. The manager will also be responsible for communicating effectively with staff and other departments, monitoring the casino environment for safety, and ensuring guest satisfaction and asset protection. Additionally, this position involves managing inventory control, attending meetings, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School graduate/GED.
Associates degree in electronics technology with four (4) years experience as Slot Technician Supervisor and satisfactory completion of electronic industry trade school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Theory of Operation of gaming devices and support systems.
Working knowledge of Tribal Compact provisions and the Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
Must be able to meet deadlines and work independently without supervision.
Must be flexible with working hours and days off.
Must be self-motivated, responsible, and possess leadership qualities.
Must possess good communication and writing skills; effectively instruct and guide all technicians and ensure proper communication to the Slot Director.
Possess tact, diplomacy, and initiative in resolving guest or employee concerns and ensuring interdepartmental cooperation.
Must be able to meet all internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements.
Must be confidential.

Responsibilities

Maintains confidentiality on all internal departmental matters, correspondence, and proprietary data.
Safeguards and accounts for the assets of the owners.
Complies with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
Responsible for proper resolutions of machine variances, par deviations, and other system anomalies.
Assists Slot Director in slot analysis, projections, budgeting, and purchasing for the Slot Department.
Assists Slot Director (or in conjunction with the Slot Shift Manager) in formulating and implementing goals and objectives of the Slot Department.
Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
Monitors the casino environment and follows established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
Works respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
Properly manages inventory control and ensures budgetary compliance.
Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Directly supervises all Slot Technicians, the Lead Technician, and the Bench Technician.
Has signatory authority for transaction verifications per Internal Control Verification requirements, machine access keys, machine drop access keys, and short pay authorization.
