About The Position

The Slot Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the electronic gaming machines and related gaming equipment. This role requires proficiency in repairing, maintaining, and ensuring the general operating condition of slot machines, as well as performing installations, removals, conversions, moves, and changes with minimal supervision. The technician will also be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the player tracking system and troubleshooting/setup of progressive signs. Fostering positive team member relations and maintaining effective inter-departmental communication are key. A high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image is expected. Ongoing communication with employees to share information and gather feedback is also a responsibility, along with role-modeling company standards. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and knowledge of Slot operating systems are required, as is a working knowledge of gaming regulations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of Slot operating systems.
• Working knowledge of gaming regulations.
• Ability to work with confidential data.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and SDS preferred.
• Strong interactive skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• Must be able to work in a highly populated fast-paced and noisy environment.
• This position has access to keys in order to meet the positions requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training certificate preferred.
• Some experience working with electronics or mechanical responsibilities.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance, and general operating condition of slot machines.
• Installation and removal of slot machines.
• Slot machine conversions, moves and/or changes with little or no direct supervision.
• Foster and maintain positive team member relations in a supportive environment and interfaces with other departments to ensure a harmonious working relationship.
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
• Repair and maintenance of player tracking system.
• Troubleshoot and setup progressive signs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with employees to share information, listen to feedback, and role model Caesars standards.
