About The Position

Responsible for the execution of Preventive Maintenance Program standards developed by Slot Performance team. Technician’s role is to ensure maximum performance and reduce machine downtime by meeting monthly quotas of machines serviced. Minor repairs of machines may be required during the preventive maintenance service time. Additional functions include involvement in daily moves and modifications projects to continue to build knowledge base and experience levels. All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”. Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on integrated circuits, computers, and test equipment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electronics.
  • Ability to quickly maneuver and work inside assigned area.
  • Ability to quickly man lift, pull, push, and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to turn key constantly.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to continuously and quickly maneuver around casino Slot areas for entire shift.
  • Ability to tolerate stressful situations.
  • Dexterity in both hand and finger movement.
  • Ability to handle and solve customer concerns and questions.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of slot machines and peripheral gaming equipment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electronics and computer networks.
  • Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Willingness to work any day of the week and any shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Slot Repair school or college graduates preferred.
  • Slot technician experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the SG/Bally Slot Data System version SDS-13.2 is preferred but not required.
