About The Position

Responsible for proper repair, maintenance and proper functioning of gaming devices, their related components and support systems.

Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma or GED.
  • Must at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be computer/software function literate with a wide range of electronic based practical skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Must be self-motivated, observant and must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Must possess the ability to gain a working knowledge and understanding of all gaming devices, progressive units and player-tracking set-up.
  • Must possess a positive attitude towards guests and co-workers at all times.
  • Must possess tact, diplomacy and initiative when assisting in resolving a guest dispute.
  • Must be organized and capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Must be flexible with shifts and days off.
  • Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.
  • Must be confidential.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains confidentiality on all internal departmental matters, correspondence and proprietary data.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Properly report on investigations or report incidents requiring investigation.
  • Responsible for proper function of all gaming devices, related components and support systems on shift.
  • Assist with technical support when required, supervises shift activities as assigned by management.
  • Perform a variety of duties as assigned by the Senior Technician on-duty, including gaming device placement, removal, installation, and cleaning.
  • Cleaning and organization of all workstations.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Assists/trains Slot employees regarding access to machine historical data, device option review and perform actions resulting in guest dispute resolution techniques and/or proper machine function.
  • This position has signatory authority for machine access keys, machine drop access keys, and short pay authorization (after 90-day probation complete).
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
