About The Position

The Slot Supervisor is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and defining all activities related to personnel, customer relations, gaming equipment, and administrative duties for the daily operation of an assigned shift or section. This role involves extending complimentary services, resolving customer issues, and ensuring compliance with all New Jersey regulatory requirements and company policies. The supervisor also oversees technical responsibilities such as issuing checks for hand pay jackpots, verifying transactions, authorizing slot markers, and maintaining the integrity of gaming activities. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and providing feedback to team members, assessing training needs, and enhancing the guest experience by explaining player card functionality and club membership benefits.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two years of Slot Operations experience required
  • Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in a casino
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English

Responsibilities

  • Organize, coordinate, and define all activities related to personnel, customer relations, gaming equipment, and administrative duties for the daily operation of assigned shift or section.
  • Extend complimentary services to players within established guidelines.
  • Amicably resolve customer-related problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Ocean Casino Resort trade secrets and proprietary information.
  • Ensure all activities reflect company/property/Department policies and regulations, as well as compliance with CCC and DGE regulations.
  • Perform technical responsibilities including issuance of checks for hand pay jackpots, verifying jackpot and cash transactions, and authorizing/verifying slot markers for guests.
  • Circulate assigned area, observe service team members, and provide positive and corrective feedback.
  • Monitor team members to assess training needs.
  • Enhance the guest experience by communicating the functionality of the player card and club membership advantages.
  • Oversee the issuance of work tools and keys to gaming assets.
  • Maintain the integrity of all gaming activities.
