About The Position
The Slot Shift Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Slot Department. This role oversees and maintains the integrity of Slot floor activity, monitors the performance of Slot staff, and ensures adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 3 - 5 years casino slot management experience
- Must be able to communicate in English
- GAMING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Ensures that proper procedures are adhered to for marketing and promotions
- Supervises temporary and permanent removal of funds from the Slots
- Creates weekly schedules
- Checks Slot machines to determine if there is fraudulent activity
- Ensures application of federal currency reporting requirements
- Performs duties of Slot Attendant as required
- Assumes administrative responsibility in the absence of Slot Director and Assistant Director
- Directly supervises Floor Cashiers, Relief Shift Managers, Relief Shift Supervisors and Slot Attendants
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work and performance reviews
