About The Position

This role is responsible for providing superior customer service, overseeing slot machine operations, and performing various maintenance and administrative tasks. The Slot Floor Supervisor will assist customers with payouts, complaints, and inquiries about machine functions, while also ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of slot machines.

Requirements

  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform coin fills and ticket fills.
  • Proficiency in assisting customers with various issues.
  • Knowledge of slot machine payout and override verification.
  • Understanding of voiding jackpots, payouts, and fills.
  • Ability to explain ticket in/ticket out and Promo Cash.
  • Knowledge of tilt codes and their resolution.
  • Ability to sign slot keys in and out.
  • Understanding of tip logging procedures.
  • Capability to perform minor slot machine repairs.
  • Skills in cleaning machines and replacing bulbs.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Experience in reviewing slot activity and employee issues.
  • Familiarity with jackpot/fill override reports.
  • Ability to complete and submit weekly assigned tasks.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to assist with annual performance reviews.
  • Experience with machine moves, installs, and take-downs.
  • Willingness to attend department meetings and training sessions.
  • Willingness to attend training seminars and conferences, potentially requiring travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service to customers, internal/external alike.
  • Perform coin fills and ticket fills as needed.
  • Assist customers with fills, tickets, complaints, etc.
  • Oversee, verify, and approve slot machine payouts.
  • Verify all machine overrides.
  • Correctly void jackpots, payouts, and fills when required.
  • Explain ticket in/ticket out and Promo Cash functions to customers.
  • Direct customers for further assistance.
  • Understand and resolve tilt codes to assist customers or repair machines.
  • Sign out slot keys at the beginning of shift and sign them back in at shift's end.
  • Call Surveillance and log at Cage any tips received.
  • Perform minor repairs to slot machines when necessary.
  • Clean machines (external and internal), replace bulbs, and perform other preventative maintenance.
  • Meet with Slot Director and/or Slot Manager to review slot activity and employee issues.
  • Review jackpot/fill override reports with Slot Manager.
  • Complete and submit "weekly assigned tasks" records to Slot Manager.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are performed within guidelines on the assigned shift.
  • Assist with annual performance reviews.
  • Assist with machine moves, installs, and take-downs.
  • Attend all slot department meetings and/or training sessions.
  • Attend pertinent training seminars and conferences where travel may be required.
