About The Position

Lakeside Hotel Casino is seeking a motivated and service-focused Slot Department Supervisor to oversee slot operations on the casino floor during assigned shifts. This leadership role is responsible for supporting daily operations, supervising team members, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced gaming environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and a commitment to guest service and team development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous slot operations experience required
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission gaming license
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to comply with all Company safety standards and attendance expectations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and leadership

  • Game performance experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee slot operations during assigned shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Provide excellent guest service while assisting with jackpots, minor machine repairs, and resolving guest concerns
  • Supervise, coach, train, and support Slot team members, including Slot Shift Supervisors, Lead Slot Attendants, and Slot Attendants
  • Ensure compliance with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission regulations, Internal Controls, and Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain proper staffing levels to support operational and guest service needs
  • Delegate assignments and monitor work performance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, recognition, and discipline of team members
  • Complete payroll and attendance responsibilities accurately and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate departmental records and reports
  • Communicate casino activities, promotions, and operational updates with staff regularly
  • Resolve guest concerns and escalated issues professionally and effectively
  • Ensure department appearance, grooming, attendance, and safety standards are maintained
