About The Position
Magnolia Bluffs Casino, located on the historic site of the former Learned’s Mill, offers a premier gaming and hospitality experience. Opened in 2012 and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC, the casino features numerous slot machines, table games, and dining options. Complementing the casino is a hotel with the area's only saltwater pool. We are seeking to expand our team to continue providing excellent customer service and gaming experiences, with a current opening for a Slot Attendant.
Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
- Able to stand and walk 6-8 hours.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior money handling experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Circulates throughout the assigned area, observing players and machine functions.
- Assists with minor machine repairs and reports malfunctions.
- Reports emergencies such as intoxicated, annoying, or cheating guests to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintains necessary communication between self, co-workers, supervisors, and managers in all departments to ensure controlled operation of the VGM floor.
- Maintains change wallets.
- Exchanges currency at customer's request.
- Ensures Federal cash reporting requirements are met.
- Verifies, issues, and documents jackpot payouts.
- Counts and verifies all exchanges with the cashier department and customers.
- Promotes positive guest relations with a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment for guests.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
