About The Position

The Slot Ambassador is responsible for the integrity and security of the slot floor on assigned shifts while following policies and procedures and providing excellent guest service. The role assists patrons promptly, politely, and courteously with their service needs, monitors assigned areas, and performs limited troubleshooting and maintenance on gaming machines as directed by management. The position reports to the Slot Supervisor and is classified as non-exempt.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer questions, and provide information in response to guest inquiries.
• Stay up to date on Slot Marketing activities and events at the property.
• Monitor the assigned area and attend to guest needs, including jackpot payments.
• Verify jackpots, complete slot payout forms, and assist with refund claims.
• Troubleshoot repairs and perform limited maintenance on gaming machines as directed by management.
• Repair machines promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Issue repair work orders for machine malfunctions.
• Report machines left out of order to the supervisor and complete a detailed report.
• Maintain a log of machines opened, tested, or repaired, including repair details.
• Ensure gaming machine equipment is secure and defective components are properly tagged and identified.
• Participate in machine moves.
• Respond promptly to customer calls for assistance.
• Maintain surveillance of assigned areas and observe slot play.
• Keep the assigned slot floor area neat and clean.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with repeat guests.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward guests and employees.
• Follow casino policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Communicate daily activity to incoming shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
