Magnera in Mooresville is hiring experienced Slitter Operators for day and night shifts.

Requirements

HS Diploma or its equivalent
Demonstrate knowledge/experience operating a Slitter
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime as needed
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Willingness to complete required training, certifications, and safety programs

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift-certified (company-paid training provided)
Mechanical aptitude or experience working with industrial equipment
Basic computer skills for data entry or production tracking
Experience working in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

Set up and operate slitter equipment to cut product to required width and diameter
Follow all safety procedures and company operating standards
Review work orders and verify machine settings, recipes, and knife alignment
Perform startup, visual, and audio checks to ensure efficient operation
Monitor quality, conduct inspections, and address quality or equipment issues
Troubleshoot slitter and knife-related problems as needed
Communicate effectively with line operators, lab, and production leadership
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform other duties as assigned
