About The Position
Senior Helpers of Evansville, IN is seeking experienced Overnight Caregivers for part-time or full-time positions to assist male elderly clients. The role involves providing comprehensive care, including personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, meal preparation, and specialized Parkinson's care assistance. Shifts are overnight, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a pay differential for weeknights and weekend overnights. Requirements
- Experience in Parkinsons care
- Must have a Driver's License
- Must be able to pass Background Check (no felonies or misdemeanors)
- Caring and Compassionate attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills
Nice To Haves
- CNA, PCA, RN, New Grad RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA certification
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance
Responsibilities
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
- Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
- General assistance, escorting to appointments etc.
- Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing & grooming)
- Parkinson's Care
