About The Position
Kiewit is looking for multiple Concrete Paver/Placer Operators for the Southeast Connector Project located in Fort Worth, TX. The Southeast Connector project is an interstate widening and reconstruction project designed to alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety. Major construction on the connector is slated for early 2023, with completion planned for 2027.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience operating concrete paving machines or similar heavy construction equipment.
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
- Operate a concrete paver to spread, level, and smooth concrete surfaces according to project specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to control the flow, depth, and consistency of concrete placement.
- Work closely with ground crews, finishers, and other operators to ensure a smooth and efficient paving process.
- Monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required.
