About The Position

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Sleep Medicine Physician to join our growing team. Collaborate closely with Pulmonary Medicine, Neurology, Otolaryngology, Primary Care, and other specialty colleagues across the UMass Memorial Health system. We offer a high volume of patients representing a diverse mix of sleep disorders, with well-established networks for full-service in-lab polysomnography testing and a robust home sleep apnea testing program. The role offers flexibility to see patients in-office or through telehealth visits, supported by modern technology platforms like Epic EMR for seamless communication and workflow efficiency. Strong administrative and operational support, along with thoroughly trained clinical support staff in sleep medicine, ensures efficiency and work-life balance. This position is within Central Massachusetts' largest health system and the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School, with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Sleep Medicine.
  • Completion of an accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship.
  • Must hold a MD or DO degree.
  • Qualify for a Massachusetts license.
  • Candidates seeking a split position between Sleep Medicine and either Pulmonary and Critical Care or Neurology must be board-certified or board-eligible in the corresponding specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with a broad range of sleep disorders.
  • Collaborate with Pulmonary Medicine, Neurology, Otolaryngology, Primary Care, and other specialty colleagues.
  • Utilize in-lab polysomnography testing for diagnosis and management of complex patients.
  • Manage patients through a robust home sleep apnea testing program.
  • See patients in-office or through telehealth visits.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for communication and workflow efficiency.
  • Contribute to a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
