About The Position

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Sleep Medicine Physician to join our growing team. Collaborate closely with Pulmonary Medicine, Neurology, Otolaryngology, Primary Care, and other specialty colleagues across the UMass Memorial Health system. We offer a high volume of patients representing a diverse mix of sleep disorders, supported by a well-established network of full-service in-lab polysomnography testing and a robust home sleep apnea testing program. Flexibility to see patients in-office or through telehealth visits is available. Modern technology platforms, including Epic EMR, support seamless communication and workflow efficiency. Strong administrative and operational support ensures efficiency and work-life balance, with thoroughly trained clinical support staff in sleep medicine. We are committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous improvement. Practice within Central Massachusetts' largest health system and the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Sleep Medicine.
  • Completion of an accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship.
  • Candidates seeking a split position between Sleep Medicine and either Pulmonary and Critical Care or Neurology must be board-certified or board-eligible in the corresponding specialty.
  • Must hold a MD or DO degree.
  • Qualify for a Massachusetts license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with a broad range of sleep disorders.
  • Collaborate closely with Pulmonary Medicine, Neurology, Otolaryngology, Primary Care, and other specialty colleagues.
  • Utilize in-lab polysomnography testing for diagnosis and management of complex patients.
  • Manage patients through a well-established home sleep apnea testing program.
  • See patients in-office or through telehealth visits.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for communication and workflow efficiency.
