About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create a compelling, customer-centered environment. The position may support stores within a 30- to 45-minute radius of the home store location.

The Sleep Expert builds customer relationships, shares technical and product knowledge, drives individual sales performance and KPIs, and maintains customer relationships during and after purchases. The role also monitors competitors and their advertising and services, and uses social media to support brand awareness and sales. Compensation is listed as $45,000–$56,000 depending on qualifications and experience, with uncapped commission and possible additional bonus opportunities for eligible roles.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered in-store environment and cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and the services they offer.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.
