About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role involves learning about sleep and Mattress Firm products, executing sales programs with digital tools, and supporting a seamless omnichannel experience in a compelling, customer-centered store environment. The Sleep Expert builds customer relationships, provides product and technical knowledge, drives individual sales performance, and supports company initiatives. The role may provide support to stores in Pasadena, Maryland, as needed.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered environment by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and key performance indicators while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Stay aware of competitors, advertisements, and competitor services.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
