About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the customer’s in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to create a compelling, customer-centered environment and support a seamless omnichannel experience. Sleep Experts build customer relationships, provide product and technical knowledge, drive individual sales performance, and maintain customer relationships during and after a purchase. The position may provide support to stores in Fishers, Indiana, as needed.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and create an environment where the customer is at the center.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and key performance indicators while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and their services.
• Use social media to positively affect brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.
