About The Position

Mattress Firm Sleep Experts help customers find mattresses and products that support better sleep and create an exceptional in-store experience. The Sleep Expert serves as a trusted sleep authority, provides product and technical knowledge, and uses digital tools and Mattress Firm selling programs to support a seamless omnichannel experience. The role centers on building customer relationships, delivering best-in-class service, and driving individual sales performance and key performance indicators while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives. Employees may support stores within a 30–45-minute radius of their home store location. The position requires lifting, pushing, or pulling 50 pounds or more. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and provide proof of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the in-store customer experience by acting as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and keep the customer at the center of the experience.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Stay aware of competitors, their advertisements, and the services they offer.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
