About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates and enhances the customer’s in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience to create a compelling, engaging environment centered on the customer.

Sleep Experts help customers find mattresses and improve their sleep by building customer relationships, sharing technical and product knowledge, driving individual sales performance, and providing support during and after purchases. The position also involves monitoring competitors, using social media to increase brand awareness and sales, and lifting, pushing, or pulling more than 50 pounds.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered environment by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and their services.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
