About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by acting as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create an engaging environment centered on the customer. Sleep Experts build customer relationships, provide product and technical knowledge, drive individual sales performance, and support company values and initiatives. They also maintain customer relationships after purchase, monitor competitors, and use social media to support brand awareness and sales.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and keep the customer at the center of the in-store experience.
• Provide technical and product information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, advertisements, and services offered by competitors.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.
