About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the customer's in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create an engaging environment centered on the customer. Sleep Experts help customers find suitable mattresses and improve their sleep while contributing to sales performance and company initiatives. Support may be provided to stores in Huntington, Huntington Station, and Commack, New York, as needed. Spanish is preferred.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered environment by cultivating strong customer relationships.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and key performance indicators while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Stay aware of competitors, their advertisements, and the services they offer.
• Use social media to positively affect brand awareness and increase sales.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools to support an omnichannel experience.
• Lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.
