About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create an engaging environment centered on the customer. The position may provide support to stores in Noblesville, Indiana, and Indianapolis, Indiana, as needed.

Sleep Experts help customers find suitable mattresses and improve their sleep, while building customer relationships and driving individual sales performance. Compensation includes a base pay or uncapped commission, with possible additional bonus opportunities for eligible roles. The stated competitive pay range is $49,000 to $59,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and create an environment where the customer is always at the center.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and their services.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Use digital tools and Mattress Firm selling programs to support an engaging, seamless omnichannel experience.
