About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience, creating a compelling and engaging environment centered on the customer. The Sleep Expert builds customer relationships, provides product and technical knowledge, drives individual sales performance and key performance indicators, and supports company values and initiatives. The role may provide support to stores in Huntington, Huntington Station, and Commack, New York, as needed. Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and keep the customer at the center of the in-store experience.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and key performance indicators while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, advertisements, and competitor services.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
