About The Position

The Sleep Expert enhances the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and recommending best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create an engaging environment centered on the customer. Sleep Experts help customers find the right mattress and improve their sleep while driving individual sales results and supporting company initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and create a customer-centered shopping environment.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and key performance indicators while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Stay aware of competitors, their advertisements, and their services.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
