Under general supervision, the main duty of the Rigger is to ensure the safe and effective deployment of the SkyCam system through sound processes and operations and effective communication between the EIC, Technical Operations manager and Sky-NOC. While on client job sites, responsibilities include, but not limited to: Equipment setup and operation. Handles safety meeting with local labor. Operates and correctly sets up all rental equipment including generators, boom lifts, and UPS. Assists EIC in all operations. Climbs towers, roof tops, and operates boom and aerial lifts as needed. Creates a safe ground operation for all ground-based equipment. Ensures safe rigging and interfaces for cable paths, flights, and rigging infrastructure Safe operation of equipment (weather, equipment breakdowns, etc.). Provide clear communication to EIC at all times. Developing a greater understanding and leadership as it relates to SkyCam operations. Participate and follow all safety schedules and protocols including Pre-Flight, NOC, and flight parameters. Participates in various meetings, as required, such as staff, operational and organizational meetings.
