About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Rigger to assist with the safe lifting, moving, positioning, and securing of heavy equipment and materials at industrial and construction sites. The role involves coordinating lifting operations with crane operators and team members, selecting and inspecting rigging equipment, and guiding suspended loads safely into designated locations. Rigging experience and OSHA knowledge are preferred, but training will be provided to motivated candidates with relevant work history.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical work in an outdoor environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous rigging experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment environments.
• Experience in the general construction field, especially involving heavy equipment.
• OSHA knowledge.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely signal and communicate with crane operators and other team members during lifting operations.
• Attach, secure, and inspect rigging equipment, including slings, cables, chains, hooks, and lifting devices.
• Select appropriate rigging gear based on load weight, size, and lifting requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at project sites.
• Guide, position, and maneuver suspended loads safely around obstacles and into designated locations.
• Install and remove rigging equipment, hoists, pulleys, and support structures.
• Inspect rigging equipment before use and report defects or safety concerns.
