About The Position

Are you an experienced auto finance Skiptracer who knows how to locate hard-to-find customers and drive real recoveries? At SAFCO, we’re looking for someone who can go beyond dialing—someone who can investigate, negotiate, and close. This role is best suited for skip tracers who have successfully worked non-prime portfolios and complex recoveries. If you know how to track, locate, and resolve accounts others can’t, this is the role for you.

Requirements

Auto finance collections / skip tracing experience (required)
Strong understanding of repossession and recovery workflows
Proven ability to find and engage difficult-to-locate customers
Solid communication and negotiation skills
Experience with skip tracing systems, dialers, and loan platforms

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

Locate customers using advanced skip tracing tools and investigative techniques
Handle delinquent accounts through inbound/outbound communication
Negotiate repayment plans and voluntary surrenders
Experience with dealing with direct recovery agents and national forwarders
Be comfortable with meeting customer outbound call requirements and meeting other minimum KPI requirements
Manage the repossession process with vendors
Maintain strict FDCPA compliance and documentation standards
Work accounts others can’t resolve
