About The Position

Eden Park Inc. (“EdenPark”) is a dynamic automobile finance brand committed to enabling our dealer partners to sell more cars. Since 2012, EdenPark has serviced a wide network of automobile dealers and tens of thousands of consumers from coast to coast. Join Eden Park as a Skip Tracer, and be part of our talented and growing team! This role involves gathering information to locate missing vehicles using tools such as Canada 411, Credit Bureau Reports, social media, etc. for the Customer Accounts Department. The Skip Tracer will attempt to locate the missing vehicle by searching the last area the client was last living, including where the vehicle may have been serviced or impounded. The role also includes participating in team building and incentive projects, maintaining a working queue of approximately 50-100 files with the ability to multitask, and conducting compliance testing or other assigned projects as they present themselves.

Requirements

  • At least a minimum of 1 year of skip trace experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Proficient on all social media platforms and open-source tools.
  • Ability to decipher credit bureau reports.
  • Tech-savvy and know your way through Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate well with various teams and departments.
  • All candidates considered for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, credit check, and validation of their work experience to qualify for hire.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of prior experience in a similar industry.
  • Experience working as a bailiff/investigator.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Strong development of personal contacts within the industry for trace and investigative assistance.
  • Think "outside the box".

Responsibilities

  • Gather information to locate missing vehicles using tools such as Canada 411, Credit Bureau Reports, social media, etc. for the Customer Accounts Department.
  • Try to locate the missing vehicle by searching the last area client was last living including where the vehicle may have been serviced/impounded.
  • Participate in team building and incentive projects.
  • Maintain a working queue of approximately 50-100 files with the ability to multitask.
  • Conduct as required compliance testing or other assigned projects as they present themselves.
  • Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.
