About The Position

The Skills Based Treatment RBT provides individualized applied behavior analytic services to clients of Bridgeway Academy and Therapy Center. The role involves implementing treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address behavior change and skill acquisition goals across settings, including classrooms and homes. Many treatment plans include Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) to address moderate to severe problem behavior.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, including reference checks, verification of education and employment history, and criminal background screening, as required by the position and applicable law. Requirements

• Must already possess an RBT credential and be in good standing with the BACB.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent attendance records.
• Experience in and understanding of autism and ABA.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one ABA therapy across environments such as classrooms, therapy rooms, and homes, and with clients of all ages.
• Assist with conducting functional analyses and practical functional assessments (PFAs).
• Accurately implement skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and behavior support plans.
• Implement Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene, when needed.
• Collaborate with professionals on the client’s treatment team as needed regarding client updates, progress, and behavioral concerns.
