About The Position
Renaissance Historic Exteriors is building a team of people who want to master a trade. We are hiring experienced craftsmen across four disciplines: Carpentry, Masonry, Roofing (Slate, Tile & Steep-Slope), and Architectural Sheet Metal. All of our work is on historic structures, using traditional materials and methods. If you've mastered your trade and want to do work that matters, this is your team. Requirements
- Proven, demonstrated experience in your trade
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, scopes of work, and restoration specifications
- Commitment to safety protocols on active, complex historic job sites
- Willingness to travel regionally for project assignments
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Traditional woodworking, timber framing, structural and finish carpentry, millwork installation and replication (Carpenters)
- Historic brick and stone restoration, tuckpointing, mortar analysis and repair, masonry replication (Masons)
- Natural slate and clay/concrete tile, cedar shake, copper and steep-slope systems — historic methods required (Roofers)
- Custom architectural fabrication, copper roofing and cladding, historic metalwork and flashing details (Sheet Metal Craftsmen)
