About The Position
Renaissance Historic Exteriors is building a team of people who want to master a trade. We are hiring experienced craftsmen across four disciplines: Carpentry, Masonry, Roofing (Slate, Tile & Steep-Slope), and Architectural Sheet Metal. All of our work is on historic structures, using traditional materials and methods. We offer the highest wages in our category, year-round employment, and a culture that puts craftsmanship first.
Requirements
- Proven, demonstrated experience in your trade.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, scopes of work, and restoration specifications.
- Commitment to safety protocols on active, complex historic job sites.
- Willingness to travel regionally for project assignments.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Mastery of a trade.

Responsibilities
- Traditional woodworking, timber framing, structural and finish carpentry, millwork installation and replication (Carpenters).
- Historic brick and stone restoration, tuckpointing, mortar analysis and repair, masonry replication (Masons).
- Natural slate and clay/concrete tile, cedar shake, copper and steep-slope systems — historic methods required (Roofers).
- Custom architectural fabrication, copper roofing and cladding, historic metalwork and flashing details (Sheet Metal Craftsmen).
