About The Position
The Skilled Nursing Administrator provides overall leadership and operational oversight of the Skilled Nursing Center. The role ensures high-quality resident care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sunrise standards, while driving clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and team engagement. The Administrator leads the Center’s daily operations, oversees resident care planning and services, and works with leadership to advance quality improvement and operational excellence. The role also manages budgets and staffing, supports team development, prepares for regulatory inspections, and responds to resident and family concerns.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the Skilled Nursing Center in alignment with regulatory requirements and Sunrise standards.
- Develop, update, and enforce policies and procedures to support compliance and quality care.
- Oversee care planning, MDS processes, and coordination of resident services.
- Prepare for and participate in surveys and regulatory inspections.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules for accuracy and safety.
- Manage the department budget, labor, and financial performance.
- Lead recruitment, staffing, performance management, and team development.
- Partner with leadership to drive engagement, quality improvement, and operational excellence.
