About The Position

Earthscape is an award-winning design-build firm specializing in high-end residential landscaping. They are a group of enthusiastic, creative dreamers and builders who are proud of their designs and creations, fostering a positive, productive, fast-paced, fun, and rewarding environment with opportunities for rapid growth. This is a full-time/seasonal opportunity to work on some of southern Ontario’s most beautiful residential landscape projects, offering the chance to develop and refine a wide variety of skills. In addition to excellent on-the-job training, site supervision, and a safe and inclusive work environment, the Skilled Landscape Labourer will support crews in Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas with a daily commute to the home office in Wallenstein or directly to a jobsite. The role involves assisting crews in the construction of hardscape areas such as pavers, flagstone, natural stone, walls, steps, and drainage/utilities installation, as well as softscape areas like grading, sod, garden beds, and planting.

Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to work at a fast pace throughout the season

Demonstrate an aptitude to learn, and a hunger to do so quickly under supervisor training and through personal initiative

Responsibilities

Support crews in Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas
Assist crews in the construction of hardscape areas such as pavers, flagstone, natural stone, walls, steps, drainage/utilities installation
Assist in the construction of softscape areas such as grading, sod, garden beds, planting
Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
Work in a safe and professional manner
