This position performs various duties in the completion of our building projects. Successful candidates will be energetic, dependable, and take pride in producing quality results with a great attitude towards collaboration with team members.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of construction experience
- Familiarity with the materials, tools, equipment, and machinery, and the ability to use them safely
- MEWP, Telehandler, and Skidsteer Training certifications are required
- Must be open to performing physical activities (Lifting equipment up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work at a variety of locations, in the Fraser Valley or Lower Mainland, individually or in teams
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including night shifts
- Team-oriented, ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Valid BC Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- experience with concrete is an asset
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction/supervision of the Site Superintendent
- Loading and unloading materials, cleanup, and miscellaneous duties
- Assembling or breaking down structures
- Operate equipment or vehicles to clear construction sites or move materials
- Ensure all safety standards are followed when working on construction job sites
- Other duties as assigned.
