About The Position

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Skilled Laborer for a temporary position of approximately six months, located onsite in Hardin County, Ohio. The role provides manual labor and involves safe operation of hand tools, motorized tools, and heavy civil construction equipment. The successful candidate will follow safe work practices and meet client, company, and regulatory standards. Work may involve different shifts and lifting up to 100 pounds. The salary range is $25–$27 per hour; actual compensation depends on factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and market conditions.

Requirements

Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for operating heavy equipment.
Ability to use operations manuals and manufacturer specifications when operating specialized equipment.
Ability to prepare reports and records of work accomplished, time spent, and parts, supplies, and materials used.
Valid driver’s license.
Positive attitude and ability to be a great teammate.
DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

Provide manual labor, including lifting up to 100 pounds and other construction-related tasks.
Operate hand and motorized tools safely and productively.
Safely and productively operate heavy civil construction equipment, including skid steers, drum compactors, wheel loaders, and off-road dump trucks.
Use safe working practices and perform assigned work in accordance with client, company, and regulatory standards.
Prepare reports and records of work accomplished, time spent, and parts, supplies, and materials used.
Work different shifts as required.
