About The Position

DLP Staffing & Temp Services LLC is currently accepting applications for the position of Skilled Laborer at an active job site in Uvalde, TX. This is a temporary or temp-to-hire position with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour. We are seeking dependable and experienced individuals who are hands-on, safety-conscious, and familiar with construction environments. The role involves assisting with a variety of construction-related tasks.

Requirements

• Previous construction or skilled labor experience required.
• Knowledge of basic construction practices and tool use.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read, understand, and enforce safety procedures.
• Able to lift, push/pull, and carry heavy materials (up to 55 pounds).
• Must own or be willing to obtain steel-toe boots.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.
• Uses hand and power tools to perform a variety of construction duties.
• Assists with framing, demolition, site prep, and material handling.
• Follows instructions to complete job assignments safely and effectively.
• Moves, secures, installs, and loads/unloads materials as needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe job site.
• Performs other duties as requested.
