About The Position
If you like working with your hands, staying busy, operating equipment, and seeing what you accomplished at the end of the day, you may fit right in at A-Line. This is dirty, physical, industrial work, involving working indoors and/or outdoors year-round to scrap and recycle electrical equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials throughout the shift
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Must complete a favorable drug test, background check, and physical
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of industrial, mechanical, or outdoor work experience preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment preferred (e.g., forklifts, skid steers, material handlers, or overhead cranes)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Responsibilities
- Work Indoor and/or outdoor year-round to scrap and recycle electrical equipment
- Operate industrial tools and equipment to cut and dismantle transformers
- Hand sort and separate materials based on metal type
- Operate forklifts and material handlers to move heavy loads
- Follow strict safety protocols in a fast-paced environment
