About The Position

Synergen is seeking an Skid Steer Equipment Operator at Hydroline, a Synergen company, located in Dilley, Texas. The primary focus of this role is to operate Compact Tracked Loaders (CTLs), commonly referred to as skid steers. Responsibilities will vary based on business and district needs, including rig up, rig down, and yard projects. The operator must understand and adhere to company standards and expectations, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety. The role involves operating CTLs to deploy lay flat hose, place road crossings, and set up manifolds. Essential functions also include inspecting and maintaining equipment, participating in rig up/rig down meetings, communicating with the Foreman, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. The work must be executed to the highest standard, meeting customer expectations safely and compliantly.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in Water Transfer preferred
  • Current Driver’s License that allows driving a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds or greater
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus

Nice To Haves

  • Current safety certifications to include PEC, H2S, Forklift, First Aid/CPR preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate CTL to deploy lay flat hose, placing road crossing and manifolds where needed
  • Properly inspect and maintain equipment which includes but not limited to daily greasing, monitoring all fuel levels, taking note of any damage occurred, and ensuring adequate service intervals
  • Attend and participate in rig up and rig down meetings and ensure full understanding of the plan and can properly communicate the plan to teammates
  • Constantly communicate with Foreman on progress, changes, and needs for executing project plan
  • Ensure the compliance of company policies and standards are always followed, ie: JSA’s, equipment inspections, checklist, etc.
  • Ensure work is executed to the highest standard while meeting the customers’ expectations and is done safely and compliantly
  • Lead by example, teach, motivate, and mentor team members, and execute daily goals
  • Drive a culture where our equipment and work is organized, clean, and presentable
