About The Position

As an In-House Ski Technician + Valet Attendant, you will be the face of Ski Butlers at our on-site operation within the Waldorf Astoria Park City. You will help create a seamless guest experience from arrival through departure, welcoming guests before and after their time on the mountain, assisting with putting on and removing ski boots, storing and retrieving equipment, providing ski and snowboard rentals, and working side by side with hotel team members. The Waldorf Astoria Park City is a luxury mountain property located in the Canyons Village of Park City Mountain Resort. Ski Butlers operates as an extension of the hotel’s skier services, helping guests transition smoothly between the hotel and the mountain each day.

  • Daily operations broken into morning and evening shifts.
  • No previous experience!

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and create a seamless, personalized experience that reflects the standards of Ski Butlers and the hotel while consistently meeting our Key Customer Requirements: KCR #1: On Time – Prepare and retrieve equipment within promised timeframes, KCR #2: Communication – Setting clear expectations around the entire scope of service
  • Accurately tag, store, organize, stage, and retrieve guest-owned and rented equipment.
  • Anticipate guests' needs before and after their time on the mountain, including helping them put on and remove their ski boots
  • Work collaboratively with the hotel teams, including concierge, bell, front desk, and transportation, to coordinate service and resolve guest needs
  • Complete the entire Cycle of Service for scheduled and reactive ski/snowboard rentals: Booking rental orders, Packing rental orders in advance of equipment fitting, Fitting guests for rental equipment and providing a highly personalized fitting experience, On-Mountain Support for guests requesting equipment changes, Picking Up equipment from guests’ at the end of their rental period. Equipment is sanitized, tuned, and re-stocked for their next use
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Basic ski/snowboard tuning, waxing and general equipment maintenance
