About The Position

The Ski & Snowboard Club Supervisor is responsible for the overall safety and management of students participating in the Ski & Snowboard Club. This includes monitoring and supervising students throughout the session, coordinating with the venue (Wild Mountain) for logistics such as ticket distribution and rule enforcement, and ensuring adherence to all club and venue rules. The supervisor will also manage accident procedures and paperwork, and maintain communication with the Community Education Coordinator. This is a per-time stipend position.

Requirements

18+ years of age
A successful background check is required.
Ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior
Ability to deliver articulate instructions
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, students and parents.

Responsibilities

Student monitoring and supervision for the duration of the session (from pick up to drop off and making sure all students are picked up at the end of the night)
Coordinate with Wild Mountain to make sure all tickets are correctly distributed
Ensure students receive proper help prior to skiing
Enforce all Ski & Snowboard Club rules with all members along with enforcing Wild Mountain rules
Split time between the chalet and the ski hills with the volunteer chaperones
Maintain established procedures in case of any accidents along with appropriate paperwork for each Ski & Snowboard Club day
Maintain great communication with the Community Education Coordinator
