Ski School Support Staff
About The Position
Ski School Support Staff work in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor environment, supporting ski and snowboard school operations outside of instruction. The role involves substantial guest interaction and supports children's programming, rental operations, guest check-in and check-out, lesson scanning, and lesson-area lift operations. This is a winter seasonal position for 2026/2027, with part-time hours available. The starting and expected pay range is $20.00–$31.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 14 years old. Housing is not available. Seasonal hiring is rolling, and applications are accepted until December 15 or until positions are filled, whichever comes first.
Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment.
- Fluency in all aspects of the English language.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills with a wide variety of guests and employees.
- Successfully pass a background check.
- At least 14 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills, including typing and data entry.
- Early childhood care experience.
- Skiing or snowboarding experience to assist with lessons as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Process daily reservations and sales using resort operating systems.
- Set up and tear down indoor facilities and work areas daily, maintaining a clean, orderly, welcoming, and efficient environment.
- Follow health-code policies and procedures for facility cleanliness, including common areas, toys, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly facility that accommodates high-volume daily guest flow.
- Work with small children to facilitate appropriate indoor and outdoor games and activities.
- Wear a snow-sports-specific helmet while skiing or riding, or while assisting lessons in uniform, in accordance with corporate policy.
- Understand, lead, and model departmental safety standards and contribute to the health and safety culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
