About The Position

The Skate Park Customer Service Officer is responsible for meeting and greeting users, ensuring a safe, positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment. This role involves assisting with the planning and delivery of events, promotions, clinics, and lessons at the skate park. The officer will also handle customer enquiries, feedback, and support, process transactions (cash and/or card), take bookings, and record attendances using the Xplor Recreation system. Additionally, the position requires maintaining the Skate Park to high safety and cleanliness standards.

Requirements

  • Good availability across all Skate Park opening hours and days (Monday to Friday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm, Daylight Saving: 3:00pm – 7:00pm; Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am – 6:00pm, Daylight Saving: 11:00am – 7:00pm; Public Holidays: 11:00am – 6:00pm, Daylight Saving: 12 noon – 6:00pm)
  • Ability to work a minimum 1 shift per week
  • Skate Park or Skating experience
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication
  • Current Working with Children Check (employer)
  • Current CPR qualification
  • Subject to a satisfactory criminal records history check

Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting Skate Park users
  • Providing a safe, positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment
  • Assisting with planning and delivery of events, promotions, clinics, and lessons at the skate park
  • Assisting customers with enquiries, feedback, and support
  • Processing transactions (cash and/or card)
  • Taking bookings
  • Recording skate park attendances in our point-of-sale and customer management system, Xplor Recreation
  • Maintaining the Skate Park to the highest safety and cleanliness standards
